LAYOUT- DESIGNS OF INTEGRATED CIRCUITS IN VIETNAM
REQUIRED INFORMATION

1.  Name, address and nationality of the Applicant(s);
2.  Name, address and nationality of the author(s);
3. Title of the layout - design;
4. Information about Priority right: Country, application number and filing date of the original application from which priority is claimed (if priority is claimed).

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
1. Power of Attorney from Applicant to VIPATCO (notarization is not required);
(The copy of the original Power of Attorney is accepted for filing application but the original one must be submitted within 01 month from the filing date).
2. Deed of Assignment of application right from the author(s)/ or Applicant to the other Applicant
(The copy of the Deed of assignment of the application right is accepted for filing application but the original one must be submitted within 01 month from the filing date), (if  any); 
3. Dee of assignment of the Priority Rights where the Applicant is different from the Applicant has been having the Priority Right
(The copy of the Deed of assignment of the priority rights is accepted for filing application but the original one must be submitted within 01 month from the filing date), (if any); 
4. Certified Priority Document (The copy of the Priority document is accepted for filing application but the Certified Priority document must be submitted within 01 month from the filing date), (if  any);
5. 02 sets of pictures (photographs or drawings) illustrating the layout - design. The pictures must not exceed the international size A4. All pictures must be made in the same scale. There must be as many pictures of the Layout-design as it is taken to show all of the different sides of the Layout-design;
6. Information about function and composition of Layout-design of integrated circuit in English (01 copy); 
7. Specimen of Layout-design of integrated circuit (If any)

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:
      The validity term of the registration counted from the granting date of certificate and invalid in the date early in following:
10 years, counted from the granting date of Certificate;
10 years, counted from exploited date of the Layout-design of integrated circuit on the market;
15 years, counted from created date of the Layout-design of integrated circuit.
